ही बालकविता इंग्रजी मी नर्सरी -हाइम्सला वैतागुन लिहुन संगीतबद्ध केली होती. ही कविता वाचुन आणि संगीत ऐकून हिंदुत्ववाद्यांना आनंदाच्या उकळ्या फुटु शकतील किंवा रामद्वेष्ट्यांना पोटशूळ उठू शकेल...मला मात्र सामान्य जनमानसांतला राम या कवितेत अभिप्रेत आहे...खालच्या शब्दांसोबत जोडलेले संगीत ऐका...

नर्सरी -हाईम...रेन इज पवरिंग...

२००० सालची गोष्ट असेल. माझी मुले तेंव्हा शाळेत शिकत होती. ते इंग्रजीतील नर्सरी -हाइम्स म्हणत त्या मला आजिबात आवडत नसत. रेन रेन गो टु स्पेन...हे काय आहे म्हटलं? मग मी स्वत: आठ बालगीतं लिहिली...संगीतबद्धही केली. अजय-अतुलने संगीत संयोजन केलं. पण व्हाईसओव्हर राहुनच गेला. मग बनवलं फक्त म्युझिकल...खरेच पक्क्या भारतीय नर्सरी -हाइम्सची गरज आहे.
